Ok, this is getting ridiculous. I understand that she is grieving over her son…but enough is enough. Now she has just become a media centerfold, and a propaganda tool for the far left. Her husband has left her because of it, and she still won’t give it up. She says her message is to “…end the war now.” Which would do basically nothing and send Iraq into an all out civil war. Especially since Iraq is in the closing agreements to a new constitution which would give equal rights to women of Iraq. Even though that may not be inforced as well as many would think, it’s a gigantic leap forward from having the Shiar’a as the ‘constitution.’
With most of Iraqi’s pushing for an Islamic government, America is trying to do what they did in Japan; set up a constitution of democracy and then let the people choose how they want their democracy. Even though the Iraqi’s want the Islamic government, I’ve heard on the radio from the ambassador to Iraq that, “A democratic government will be set up, that is already been confirmed and will not change.” I don’t know how well democracy will work in Iraq, and I’m sure that there will be many amendments to it in the coming years, but basically anything is better than a society that is a destructive force on itself.
