Do you find teens excessively annoying? Do you hate it when they hang out in front of your lawn or store and heckle your customers? Well now there is something to solve that pesky problem: Child Repellent, or more officially titled, the ‘Mosquito’. So jump for you joy you child hating old coot, you can now bask on your porch sipping your lemonade without worrying about those hooligans with their ’skateboards of terror’.
Child Repellent was basically discovered by accident. A construction working using high-pitched equipment observed that a young child would refuse to come into a room he was working in. He asked the child why and the child answered back, “that noise…”. The ‘noise’ was unheard by the older individuals working in the room. Upon repeated observations the construction worker came to the conclusion that younger people can hear higher pitched noises than older people. This then inspired him to create his Child Repellent, or what he calls his, ‘Mosquito’.
The device is set up to keep teens from ‘hanging out’ where they are annoying other people. So far it has been working, but is still under more investigation.
I wonder what the name for this product will be if it comes to the mainstream market? ‘Child OFF!’ perhaps would work…but if this product becomes more commonly used, it will be very annoying to be young.
