Rather unusual day today, very distinctly different from the others — and in a good way I might add.
It has been a long time coming I think, I haven't had an 'excellent' day for awhile; I only had piles of decent days mixed with crappy days that joined together to make a giant ball of nothingness that happened to be catagorized into days. (If you didn't quite understand that statement, it's ok; maybe if you read it a few more times you will understand it, but if you don't, don't worry about it.)
Well, you're probably wondering what made it so excellent — or maybe you're not, I don't know; I can't read minds. What made it a climb above the 'giant ball of nothingness' was a few distinct things that made me happy:
- I scheduled my road test to get my license (May 11th)
- I was feeling very inspired in my Creative Writing class and almost completed a very, shall we say, intruiging story.
- I received a 98% on my Geometry test — which, of course, is nothing short of a miracle. I'm pretty sure I heard Al Michaels exclaiming in my ear, "Do you believe in miracles?" and then a roaring of a half-drunk crowd errupted soon afterward. (If you don't understand that statement either, you might want to catch up on your pop-culture knowledge.)
- I received 100% on my Vocabulary test — that isn't much of a miracle, Vocabulary is easy for me, but it made my day just that much better.
- I have no homework tonight!
By reading that I'm sure you are jealous at the simplicity of my days — I can feel the jealousy all the way through the computer. All in all, it was a good one; hope I can top it tomorrow, but I'm not counting on it.
