For some reason I can only come to realize when it is summer when I am bored. When I reach that limit of how much boredom my mind can take, I fully understand and realize that, yes, it is summer. When all the good television shows and mini-series end, I know that it is summer.
That reminds me: Why is it that as soon as summer begins — as soon as people actually have time to stay up late and watch shows — all the good shows come to a screeching, suspenseful halt. Why? Shouldn't it be the other way around? I don't have time during the non-summer months to watch all the shows. But when I do, in fact, have oodles of time on my hands, all the networks slam their doors in my face, disallowing me to enjoy their programming.
Anyways, all this nonsense is irrelevant to the reason I am actually writing this post. I am writing this post to inform my small group of loyal readers that I am taking a brief absence.
This 'absence' I am taking is a pleasurable trip to the sun, or otherwise known as: Arizona. This really isn't a vacation per se, but just a long distance doctors appointment.
You see, I'm still suffering from my broken wrist which I suffered back in February (severe tendinitis is what the doctors here have told me) and the doctor down in Arizona (this doctor is a osteopathic-manipulator.) would also like to take a 'look' at my head to make sure everything is working well since my concussion.
So, this long distance doctors appointment will last until Tuesday — or 6 days for those of you who have no sense of what day it is.

See, figures. I take a break from writing in my blog and reading the blogs of others and I come back and half the people I like to read are taking breaks!
Enjoy your trip. I’ll be back when you are.
Come back now.
Don’t worry, Adam, I’m back.
